[Review] Top 5 Budget-Friendly Korean Snacks You Must Buy at Daiso!
Hi everyone! Today, I’m excited to share some of my favorite "내돈내산" (my own money, my own purchase) snacks from Daiso Korea.
While Daiso is famous for its affordable K-beauty products, their snack aisle is a hidden gem where you can find treats at prices even lower than convenience stores. Here are my top 5 picks!
1. Orion Whole Almond Candy (₩1,500 / Approx. $1.10)
This is my absolute favorite! It’s a crunchy candy topped with a whole roasted almond. It offers the perfect balance of nutty, sweet, and crispy textures. If you like a satisfying crunch, you’ll love this.

2. Mallang Cow - Milk Chewy Candy (₩2,000 / Approx. $1.45)
In Korea, almost every mom knows this snack! It has a unique, pillowy-soft, and stretchy texture with a rich milky flavor. It’s a hit among kids and adults alike because of its airy yet chewy consistency.

3. Saekom Dalkom - Sour & Sweet Chews (₩2,000)
A nostalgic snack that every Korean grew up with. While the strawberry flavor is the "OG" classic, this pack includes the newer Blueberry Soda flavor. True to its name, it’s a burst of sour and sweet that hits your taste buds the more you chew.

4. Ssal-lo-byeol - Rice Crackers (₩1,000)
If you prefer snacks that aren't too salty or overly sweet, this is for you. These rice crackers are light, savory, and incredibly crispy. They have a subtle charm that makes it hard to stop eating once you start!

5. Jjol-byeong Snack - Spicy Flavor (₩1,000)
These are bite-sized crunchy noodle snacks. I personally love the Jajang (black bean) flavor, but I picked up the Spicy flavor this time for a change. Don't let the name scare you—it’s not spicy at all! It tastes a bit like mild Tteokbokki. If you enjoy eating raw ramen noodles with seasoning, this will be your new addiction.

Final Thoughts Daiso is a great place to explore Korean snacks without breaking the bank. If you haven't tried Korean snacks before, these are fantastic entry-level options that are both delicious and affordable.
Which one would you like to try first?
